Redesign reporting assignments to require an interview log with verbatim quotes, a source contact ledger, and a document list as deliverables alongside the story itself — these are genuinely AI-resistant because they require human presence in the world. Missouri J-School's policy of requiring students to document AI-use decisions explicitly in every assignment is the gold standard; JMCE (2025) documents multiple programs replicating it. Use Turnitin as a triage flag, not a verdict, for submissions where no interview log was provided.
